KELVIN NOTES -
******************
Note that 'Dorothea' is spelled WITHOUT the 'E' and is the 'O' has beenreplaced with a 'A'.
In the 1880 U.S. Michigan Census 'Dorothea' is spelled 'Doratiea'
Note that 'Frederick' is spelled WITHOUT the 'E' and the 'K'.
Note that 'Johann' has now become 'John'.
Note that 'Carl' has now become 'Charley' (a.k.a. Charles)
David's age is OFF by 3 years. If he was 42 or 43 in 1855 he should be 47 or 48 in 1860, instead his listed age is 50. I think the Census data is wrong.
In the 1880 U.S. Michigan Census data David's age is listed as 68. This seems more realistic. If we add 20 years to his 1860 age of 50 he should be 70 in the 1880 U.S. Michigan Census but it is listed as 68. I believe that this is his correct age.
Dorothea's age is consistent with immigration data. (41 + 5 = 46)
Fred Sr.'s age is consistent with immigration data within a year. (14 + 5 = 19)
John's age is consistent with immigration data. (11 + 5 = 16)
Charles age is consistent with immigration data within a year. (7 + 5 = 12)
